Tiffany Jones holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. During her graduate studies and thereafter, she worked with Maryland Family Resources, Inc where she counseled youth who were abused and neglected, many suffering the loss and grief of an intact family. It was then her desire to do more for those struggling with loss developed. Tiffany was Licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in 2010 and certified as a Grief Recovery Specialist in 2012.
In addition to working with youth, Tiffany has spent most of her career offering case management and counseling services to adults in the Criminal Justice System through her work with the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia. She is certified as a Master Addiction Counselor and has worked to provide individual and group counseling to those battling substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Tiffany is a certified life coach who specializes in coaching women who are successful by society’s standards yet feel unfulfilled in life. She enjoys working with those whom she can make a difference spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. She is sensitive to challenges of others and encourages them to challenge themselves and self-explore.
In July of 2013, Tiffany founded Psychache Solutions LLC. Tiffany's practice provides individual and group counseling to individuals struggling with unresolved grief and loss and provides services to aid with many other life challenges. As a diligent Mental Health Therapist supplying counseling and coaching services, Tiffany's treatment services incorporate a comprehensive approach to mental health care. Her goal is to provide her clients with the tools they need to lead healthy and productive lives. Psychache Solutions currently contracts with local mental health agencies supplying clinical supervision, counseling, and coaching services.
Tiffany previously served as head of the Bereavement Ministry at her church, Judah Temple AME Zion church in Mitchellville, MD and on the Family Life Commission in the Christian Education Department of the AME Zion Church for several years. In addition to her heart to provide ministry to bereaved families, Tiffany has special clinical interests in the healing of the inner child, Interpersonal issues, and increasing self-compassion.
Tiffany is a wife, mother, sister, and friend. She believes in embracing who she is because she understands who God created her to be. She currently lives in Maryland with her husband and children and can be contacted at [email protected].
